Description
1/2″ In-line Pressure Gauge
The 1/2″ In-line Pressure Gauge pressure gauge provides a visual reading of air pressure in any Outdoor Water Solutions Aeration system. Can attach to any point on Airline. It also works like a hose connector.
This ½” In-line Pressure Gauge works with any ½” line to indicate the amount of air pressure your aeration system is creating. In other words, this allows you to ensure your air pressure is consistent. It works with windmill aeration systems, solar aeration systems, and electric aeration systems.
Why is proper aeration important?
When you have a pond or lake, it is important to have proper aeration. Aerating your pond means having something in place where you can circulate and move water and oxygen throughout the surface and below the water. You want to ensure there is no buildup of stagnant water, which can be harmful to fish and have an overall negative impact on the health of your pond. If you do not have proper aeration, your fish will not live in all of your ponds. Instead, they will be trapped in the upper layer of your pond, where the oxygen occurs naturally. Having aeration allows for air to be added to your lake or pond, which allows your fish to enjoy the entirety of the habitat.
Additionally, proper aeration provides for the circulation of water to prevent an overabundance of waste products like dead leaves on the bottom of your pond. Decomposing materials on the bottom of your pond can cause unpleasant odors, the buildup of muck, and even algae blooms. If you want to get the most out of your lake or pond, you need to make sure you have proper aeration. The three main options for aeration are windmill aeration, solar aeration, and electric aeration. In conclusion, each system has its benefits. You need to think about what kind of system will work best for your pond or lake.
