Description
Aquarian Commercial 2HP Surface Aerator
The Aquarian Commercial 2HP Surface Aerator produces a large volume of water as a column. It produces from 1700 gpm for a two-horsepower aerator up to 2700 gpm for a three-horsepower aerator. The commercial’s exclusive diffuser deflects the water column in an omnidirectional pattern at right angles to the water surface and outward from the unit. As the redirected water flow from the diffuser is propelled through the air at a tremendous velocity, oxygen is being added at a substantial rate providing Standard Oxygen Transfer Rates from five to six pounds per horsepower-hour, depending on the horsepower selected.
Aquarian Commercial Surface Aerator floating aerators are designed to perform two basic functions:
- Create a large continuous air/water interface to transfer atmospheric oxygen to the liquid being aerated.
- Mix the liquid contents and keep degradable solids in suspension.
NOTE: Other cable lengths and sizes are available. Call for pricing.
Can add a quick cable disconnect and/or an on/off switch if needed.
Our surface aerators are designed to deliver exceptional performance, producing up to 1700 gallons per minute for a two-horsepower unit. The exclusive diffuser deflects the water column in an omnidirectional pattern, propelling it outward from the unit at a tremendous velocity. This creates a continuous air/water interface, ensuring rapid oxygenation of the liquid. With Standard Oxygen Transfer Rates ranging from five to six pounds per horsepower-hour, our surface aerators guarantee optimal oxygen levels for a healthy aquatic environment.
When to Use a Surface Aerator
Aquarian Commercial surface aerators are your go-to solution for enhancing the beauty of your pond or lake. These powerful aerators excel at mixing the liquid contents and keeping degradable solids in suspension, ensuring optimal water quality. By dramatically agitating high volumes of water at the surface of the pond, they maximize exposure to the air for essential gas exchange, banishing stagnant water and ushering in aeration excellence.

How Our Surface Aerator Works
Engineered to redefine aeration in your pond or lake, our Surface Aerators are designed to make a significant impact. By vigorously agitating large volumes of water at the surface, they ensure optimal exposure to the air, facilitating crucial gas exchange. With models ranging from 1700 gpm for a two-horsepower aerator to 2700 gpm for a three-horsepower aerator, our Surface Aerators for ponds deliver exceptional performance tailored to your specific requirements.
The key to their effectiveness lies in our commercial’s exclusive diffuser, which adeptly deflects the water column in an omnidirectional pattern, dispersing it outward from the unit at right angles to the water surface. This redirected water flow propels through the air at a remarkable velocity, infusing the liquid with oxygen at a substantial rate. With Standard Oxygen Transfer Rates ranging from five to six pounds per horsepower-hour, depending on the horsepower selected, our Pond Surface Aerators ensure optimal oxygen levels for a healthier aquatic environment.
Designed to fulfill two crucial functions, our Aquarian Commercial Surface Aerator floating aerators create a vast continuous air/water interface to transfer atmospheric oxygen to the liquid being aerated and effectively mix the liquid contents to keep degradable solids in suspension. With our Surface Aerators for ponds, you can trust in their ability to deliver outstanding aeration, maintaining the overall health and clarity of your pond or lake.
